MONETLY PRIVATE LIMITED Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: September 21, 2026

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the rules for refunds, cancellations, rescheduling, and payment disputes relating to Monetly and offerings made available through the Monetly platform at https://www.monetly.in/login .

Monetly may allow creators to sell digital products, locked content, courses, webinars, events, private communities, and 1:1 sessions. Creators are generally responsible for delivering their offerings and setting offering-specific refund terms.

This Policy should be read together with the Monetly Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Important distinction

There are two types of payments:

A. Monetly subscription or platform payments

These are payments made by creators or businesses to Monetly for platform plans, subscriptions, upgrades, add-ons, or other Monetly services.

B. Creator-offering payments

These are payments made by customers to creators for digital products, courses, locked content, communities, webinars, events, or 1:1 sessions listed through Monetly.

Refund eligibility may differ depending on the type of payment.

2. Creator responsibility for offerings

Creators are responsible for:

  • Describing their offerings accurately.
  • Stating applicable refund and cancellation rules.
  • Delivering the purchased product or service.
  • Handling creator-specific refund requests.
  • Processing refunds where appropriate.
  • Managing cancellations, rescheduling, replacements, and customer support.
  • Complying with applicable consumer-protection and other laws.

Customers should review the creator’s refund, cancellation, access, and delivery terms before completing a purchase.

3. Digital products and locked content

Because digital products and locked content may be accessed immediately after purchase, they are generally non-refundable once access has been provided or downloaded, unless:

  • The creator has offered a refund.
  • The content is materially different from its description.
  • The content is defective, inaccessible, or not delivered.
  • A refund is required by applicable law.
  • Monetly or the creator approves an exception.

Customers should contact the creator promptly if purchased content is missing, inaccessible, corrupted, or materially different from its description.

Unauthorised sharing, downloading, copying, or use of paid content does not create a right to a refund.

4. Courses and paid communities

Refund eligibility for courses and paid communities depends on the creator’s stated terms.

A refund may be considered where:

  • Access was not provided after successful payment.
  • The course or community was materially misrepresented.
  • A technical issue prevents reasonable access and cannot be resolved.
  • The creator cancels the offering.
  • The creator’s stated refund guarantee applies.
  • A refund is required by law.

A refund may not be available where:

  • The customer has substantially accessed or consumed the content.
  • The customer has violated community rules.
  • The customer has shared or redistributed paid content.
  • The customer simply changes their mind after receiving access, subject to applicable law.
  • The customer’s device, internet connection, or software prevents access.

For subscriptions or recurring access, cancelling a subscription generally stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current billing period.

5. Webinars and events

Event cancellation by the creator

If a creator cancels an event, the creator may provide:

  • A full refund.
  • A replacement date.
  • Transfer to another event.
  • Credit or another remedy permitted by law.

The available remedy may depend on the creator’s published policy and applicable law.

Customer cancellation

Customer cancellation rights depend on the creator’s stated terms. A refund may be available if the cancellation is made within the stated cancellation period.

Unless the creator offers otherwise, failure to attend a live event does not automatically qualify for a refund.

Event changes

A change to the event time, speaker, format, or content may not automatically result in a refund unless the change is material or the creator’s policy provides otherwise.

6. 1:1 sessions

Creators may set their own cancellation and rescheduling terms for 1:1 sessions.

Unless a creator states different terms, the following default rules may apply:

  • Cancellation more than 24 hours before the scheduled session: eligible for rescheduling or refund at the creator’s discretion.
  • Cancellation within 24 hours of the scheduled session: refund may not be available.
  • Failure to attend without notice: generally non-refundable.
  • Creator cancellation: eligible for rescheduling or a full refund.
  • Technical failure caused by the creator: eligible for rescheduling or a refund.
  • Technical failure caused by the customer: generally not refundable, unless the creator agrees otherwise.

These default rules do not override mandatory consumer rights or the creator’s published policy.

7. Monetly platform subscriptions

Creators who subscribe to a Monetly plan may cancel the subscription at any time through their account settings or by contacting Monetly support.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Cancellation prevents future renewals.
  • Access may continue until the end of the current paid billing period.
  • Partial-period refunds are generally not provided.
  • Plan upgrades may take effect immediately.
  • Any credit or adjustment for an upgrade will be shown at checkout or account billing.
  • Plan downgrades generally take effect at the next billing cycle.
  • Failed payments may result in suspension or downgrade after reasonable notice.

If Monetly makes a material change to a paid plan that negatively affects the subscribed service, we may provide notice and, where required by law, an appropriate remedy.

8. Duplicate, unauthorised, or incorrect payments

Contact Monetly as soon as possible if:

  • You were charged more than once.
  • You were charged the wrong amount.
  • You were charged after cancellation.
  • A payment was made without your authorisation.
  • A payment succeeded but access was not provided.

We may request transaction details, account information, payment references, or identity verification before investigating.

If a payment was unauthorised, contact your bank or payment provider immediately as well as Monetly.

9. How to request a refund

Send a refund request to:

Refund Email: [Monetlyofficial@gmail.com]

Include:

  • Your full name.
  • Account email address.
  • Order or transaction ID.
  • Name of the creator or offering.
  • Date and amount of payment.
  • Reason for the request.
  • Relevant screenshots or supporting information.
  • Preferred resolution, if applicable.

For creator offerings, customers should first contact the creator using the contact information provided on the offering page. If the creator does not respond or the issue concerns payment, access, fraud, or platform functionality, contact Monetly.

10. Refund review process

We may:

  • Confirm the transaction.
  • Review the creator’s published refund policy.
  • Contact the creator or customer.
  • Check access, download, booking, or attendance records.
  • Review payment and technical logs.
  • Request additional evidence.
  • Offer troubleshooting, replacement access, rescheduling, credit, partial refund, or full refund where appropriate.

Refund requests are assessed individually unless a mandatory legal rule applies.

We aim to respond within [5–10 business days] after receiving the required information. The actual time for a refund to appear may depend on the payment provider or bank.

11. Refund method and timing

Approved refunds are generally sent to the original payment method.

Refunds may take [5–10 business days] after approval to appear, depending on the payment gateway, bank, card issuer, or other payment provider.

Where a refund to the original method is not reasonably possible, Monetly or the creator may use another lawful method after confirming the recipient’s details.

12. Chargebacks and payment disputes

Please contact the creator or Monetly before initiating a chargeback where possible.

Improper or fraudulent chargebacks may result in:

  • Suspension or termination of the account.
  • Restriction of future purchases or withdrawals.
  • Recovery of amounts owed.
  • Review of related accounts or transactions.
  • Legal action where appropriate.

Nothing in this section limits your rights under applicable law or your right to dispute an unauthorised transaction.

13. Non-refundable situations

Unless required by law or expressly agreed otherwise, refunds may not be available for:

  • Change of mind after receiving digital access.
  • Failure to attend an event or session.
  • Failure to use purchased access.
  • Failure to cancel a recurring subscription before renewal.
  • A device, browser, internet, or software problem on the customer’s side.
  • Violation of creator or community rules.
  • Unauthorised sharing or redistribution of paid content.
  • Requests submitted outside the applicable refund period.
  • Services that were fully delivered or substantially consumed.

14. Fraud, misuse, and abuse

We may refuse or reverse a refund where we reasonably believe that:

  • The transaction was fraudulent.
  • The customer misused the platform.
  • Content was copied or redistributed.
  • Access was shared improperly.
  • A refund policy was manipulated.
  • A chargeback was submitted dishonestly.
  • The account or transaction violates the Terms and Conditions.

15. Consumer rights

This Policy does not remove or restrict any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection or other laws.

If a mandatory law grants a refund, cancellation right, cooling-off period, warranty, or other remedy, that legal right will apply notwithstanding this Policy.

16. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Material changes may be communicated through the platform or email where appropriate.
